A Telegram bot instead of a manager: five scenarios

Where a bot genuinely saves time — and where a human is still the better option.

A bot pays off where the scenario repeats and does not require judgement. Five typical cases:

  • Request intake. The bot collects name, contact and task, stores them and pings the team chat.
  • FAQ answers. Terms, timelines and scope — without waiting for a manager.
  • Reminders. Payment, renewal, deadline — the bot messages and records the status.
  • Internal workflows. Approvals, hand-off reports, project status collection.
  • Event alerts. New request, integration error, payment — straight into the chat.

Where a bot is not needed

Complex negotiations, unusual tasks and anything that needs empathy are better left to people. A bot removes routine, it does not replace conversation.

Where to start

Pick the single most repetitive scenario and automate only that one. Expanding is easier once the first bot is live.
